The first time I fired the RM380 I just fired for function and did not put it in paper. I had just a short time and not time to target it. As I said before the gun operated flawlessly and was comfortable to shoot.
Today I took some time on paper. Again, no problems with the gun but it shot about 3" to 4" high at 21'. This was with a two handed grip, left handed. I shot Ruger ARX 56gr, Remington Golden Saber 102gr, and Winchester White Box 95gr. The gun grouped fine, about 1.5" to 2.5" - just high.
I called Remington today and told them about thr problem. Remington wants the gun back for inspection. They are sending me a prepaid "pistol return kit" to send the gun back to them for inspection.
I'll keep you up to date as things happen.

Thanks for report. Glad to hear it functions well at least. Like the looks and sure makes a good pocket piece.

Update.
I did call Remington and they sent me the return kit which was a kevlar envelope and instructions. It took about 1.5 weeks to get the kit. I had to use the Remington box to send the RM380 back n the envelope. I arranged for a UPS pickup the next day on the Remington site (prepaid by Remington). The RM380was sent to Mark's Outdoor Sports in Birmingham, AL, for evaluation and repair. It turns out Remington is using qualified gunsmiths to do any repairs, at least for my RM380. The pistol was shipped last Wednesday and received by Mark's on Thursday. Today, I received a post card saying Mark's had received the pistol and that the estimated turn-around time is two weeks. I'll keep you updated on the progress. NRA Benefactor Member

I had Remington send me a box to return my handgun. Never seen the gun again.

I feel for you but it was a R51 which never was right. At least the RM380 works good. Mine was just hitting high. We'll see what happens.

Update
Mark's Outdoors tells me that Remington will replace both the slide and the barrel of my RM380. Mark's is waiting for the parts to continue. I'll let you know when this happens. NRA Benefactor Member

Good news and bad news.
Finally, I have my RM380 back in my hands. 11 weeks and 3 days (80 days). Remington replaced both the slide and the barrel. The bad news is the looong time it took to complete the repairs. Part of the delay was getting the return kit, the holidays in December, replacement parts that were damaged in shipping to the Mark's Outdoors and scheduling of the cerekote slide finish. 12/4 I called Remington and reported the high hits. I received the return kit on 12/19 or 20 and sent the gun to Remington on 12/21. The repair parts were sent to Mark's about mid January. The shipper just put the slide and the barrel in a box with no padding and sent it to Mark's. As a result, the slide finish was damaged by the barrel banging around in the box. Now the good news. Because the barrel was damaged, Mark's said they would refinish the slide with a cerekote finish. It took an additional 2 weeks before the cerekote application could be scheduled with other cerekote jobs. The gun was shipped back to me a few days after the cerekote application. So, 88 days but I now have a cerekoted RM380 (at no cost to me) that shoots to point of aim. It will be a week or so before I can get to the range to confirm the fix. NRA Benefactor Member
