I recently got a remington 742 30-06 from my grandfather and I'm having jamming issues. The round gets stuck on he feeding ramp before going into the chamber. I have to only work the action and it fixes, but with plans to hunt with it this year I really don't want to have to mess with that when I'm hunting. Is there a fix to this problem?

Not familiar with that problem...maybe some other member will be able to shed some light on it.

Did your GF have these problems, what type of ammo are you using, have you tried different ammo,
have you checked your mag to see if the bolt carrier is hitting it? Just a couple of questions I thought to ask.
