If my calculations are correct, we are coming up on the 35th anniversary of the 7600. Do you think Remington will offer any special editions to commemorate this event? Maybe bring back the rolled engraved receivers or offer it in different calibers, say a .35 Rem? What would you like to see?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I read someplace that the Model 6 replaced the 760 in 1982 and the 7600 replaced the 6 in 1987.
Had a 6 once. Wonderful rifle! But the action bar on the right side broke off the slide...

Oh, to the original point. A 35 Remington would be peachy! But I think a return to the all steel magazines would be cheered by all!
A properly throated 8mm Mauser would also be nice...
A 250-3000 with a 1-10? A .358? A 7x57 too!
Its quite a versatile action when given a chance...

Calculations are correct above Muddly. Remington came out with the Models Four and Six back in 1981-87. Model 7600 still made when the Six was dropped maybe due to increased cost. Got a book on the Remington pumps and autos. It says Remington made 36,000 of the Model Six rifles. I have a Model Four in .270 Win. Shooting with a couple guys at my club that had synthetic Ruger American and Savage 111 rifles. Was like comparing Beauty and the Beast!! But to tell the truth accuracy was decent with all.
