So...What's in your BOB !?
|
|
I have different Bob's depend ing on the occasion for example fishing, hiking, hunting or normal ride to work but the general items are stored in each bag medical kit, radios, knife, fire starter, extra batteries, water , can of food ext.... I also keep my truck box stored with items just in case I have to ditch with out my bags. And I always have a hunting/ protection tool with me rifle, pistol, and or bow with the accompanying equipment. The only thing I do want to change is my truck cb to grms to communicate with more people just in case. The cbs aren't what they used to be.

I don't plan on bugging out anywhere, but I always figure that getting back home might take some extra preparation. We have some long distances out here and temperatures can vary by 100 degrees at the extremes. I have a CamelBak HAWG that is packed with whatever is appropriate to the season, distance, and political situation (whether or not there are riots or the like). The pack has a 90 oz. water bladder built in. Extra socks, shirt, TP, batteries, flashlight, MREs are the basics. A KelTec Sub2K fits nicely along with several spare magazines that will also fit a Glock. And one of my Combat Commanders for over the shoulder draw.

Nice kit...I also have a separate CamelBak system.

This is my new bug. Haven't got it totally set up yet or my own pics. 5.11 Rush 72...SWEET pack though, my favorite yet. Gotta talk the wife into letting me get a 24 for our day trips. Lol

Nice looking sack...what's going in to it !?

A lot. Meds, TP, emergency blanket, Gerber multi tool, paramedic scissors, quick clot, other general med supplies, a down jacket I'll be getting soon, flashlight and spare batteries, can opener (P-51), 50+' of 550 cord (600# test actually), pens, various carabiners (some load bearing, some less), couple of small pulleys, magnesium stick, pocket knife, lighter, etc... Might make an emergency heater/stove to keep in it for winter. Something like this, but a penny will be used for the opener... ![]() Oh yeah, I'll be adding some Kevlar 900# test stuff as soon as I can |

Interesting idea...

Those paint can heaters work wonders. Saved my ass back in the day at a Klondike Derby. Half a dozen of us actually |
