i did a little budget long range project and it was based on a Remington 770 300 win mag. basocally wanted to see if it could be done and wanted to keep the entire build well under 1000 dollars. rifle was 300 after tax and the optic was a 250 dollar hawke eclipse 30sf 4-14x50. millett tactical rings were used at 35$ and a 150 Kahntrol muzzle brake. a caldwell 3-9 swivel bipod was borrowed from another rifle and thats about it. have a look at the video i was very amazed at the results of this system. total price under 800$ as it was fired in the video. i was using handloaded ammo 208 BTHP over 75 grains of H1000 seated to a COL of 3.57"

please let me know what you guys think of this little project.

I'm going to have to check out your video when I have 4G wi-fi. That sounds amazing to shoot 1250-yards.
An ATI stock set on a 1955 16-ga Wingmaster would make Baby Jesus cry...........
