I have attempted to call remington multiple times but I get put on hold for extended periods with an option to receive a call back but never get one,
i'm trying to convert my 887 to a tactical version but the remington website does not have an extended magazine spring listed for the 887. Does anyone know if this is available for purchase or if the 887 tactical will require a new extended spring? Does anyone know if there is a plug avaiable for the 887 tactical? Just in case I go hunting with it.

The 887 tactical also has a 1 inch weaver/picatinny rail with bracket assembly holding the extension tube to the barrel. Is this necessary? can the 887 tactical be used without it?

Last but not least. Does anyone know if the 22" barrel can be purchased from remington?

yes there is a spring for it, its the same spring for the 870, i coverted mine and you just use the spring for an 870 mag exstintion and i have seen on the remington website that they do have a plug for it but i dont remeber what i was looking under to find it but you just use the same spring you would use for the 870 but you do have to file down the tabs on the inside of the stock mag for the stopper to be able to slide threw the mag. you dont have to have the 1 inch mount but if you want the tactical look with the sling mounting on the side then its worth getting with the barrel clamp, i put it on mine and perfer it over the normal mount on the cap, it carrys alot nicer when walking in the woods and for me its easyer to pull around
