Just noticed while dry firing that grip safety on my R51 (SN 6xxx) does not click when hammer is back and gun is ready to fire. When uncocked the safety clicks. All of this with empty mag in place.

Anyone else notice the same?

Could this be an intentional feature?

I'll check if same thing happens with full mag soon.

I think that it just your gun and may change after a few hundred rounds. Out of the box, mine hardly clicked at all, cocked or not, with a firm, full grip, but had a very loud click either way if I just held it lightly and pushed the safety with one finger.

I took the grip safety off to get a better look at the Fire Control Group and ever since I put it back on, the sound has changed, not more or less, just different. But the gun still runs the same.
