I just picked up the base 597 that has no sling studs. What are the best sling studs for the 597 that will allow the use of a bipod? Thanks!!

Any will do to mount a bipod as long as the studs and bipod are both QD. prob best to check with gunshop regarding lengths and suitableness for whichever stock you have - my local gunsmith did mine in 5mins while i waited. ATB. Toby
