Remington 887 Nitro Mag Tactical

Mako M4-Style Recoil-Reducing Collapsible Buttstock
Polymer filler clay between grip and trigger

Looking to put a streamlight tlr 1s , side saddle on the stock or a Velcro style on the reciever, quick release for the red dot.....

Welcome to the forum.

Does the angle of the stock make it difficult to see the red dot? Maybe it's just the angle of the picture but it looks like the stock angles down fairly sharply which would put the red dot up pretty high when shouldered.

Now that u mention it, yea it does a little bit. I think the pic makes it more than what it is. But it's not that bad at all, I was putting out slugs and right back on target pretty quickly. All I did was place the stock a tiny bit lower in my shoulder and it was all good to go........ Wait, do you think I should try a cheek riser???

It's all personal preference. I only asked because I have a hard time shooting any type of elevated sight on a shotgun. I've shot birds and clays my whole live so my instinct is to get my head down and look down the barrel. I never feel I have stable form when I lift my head to see a dot or crosshair.

My turkey gun has a red dot on it and I always align up low and have to lift my head to see the sight. I suppose a cheek riser may help but then functionality might be lost elsewhere...I'm all about multifunction. :D
