I have an Remington 1100 and was having trouble feeding shells into the tube. I took it apart and cleaned it totally. I reassembled the gun and feed some shells into the tube with no issue. I then chambered a few and here is were the problem started. I have one stuck in the chamber. I tried every thing to open the action. I tried to remove the barrel and it will not come off. I removed the trigger assembly BEFORE TRING THIS. does anyone have any ideas on how to remove the live round? should I try to fire it and hope that it cycles? help

If and only IF, the bolt can be retracted to the rear, I would do so and engage the safety. Then, with a long wood dowel, gently tap the stuck shell to the rear. If the bolt won't retract, then I dunno !

well I did what I should had done. put it all back together went to the range put my glasses and hearing protection on aimed down range and pulled the trigger. the gun went off the bolt locked to the rear just as it should have. I feed another tube thru it and it worked fine.
