just got a rem 700 7mm rem mag today, and love it, only problem is, i got to sent it in, ejects fine when it is fired, but after been fired the bolt is hard to pull back(has to be forced) and will not extract the spent round from the chamber.. anyways, i want to convert this to a bdl, any cheap stock i can use to do this?? not looking to spend over 200 yeat

Take a look at these laminates. I just got mine and and very happy with it. My .308 heavy barrel dropped right in, and free floats without modification. I used the Wyatt's Outdoor Detmag trigger kit with this as well.

Mine was $100 US. Many styles and color options.

Congrats.

Bummer on the bolt issue.

I will second the Boyds recomendation. I've used a couple on different 10/22's I've built and they are outstanding stocks.

7mm is long action I believe, so yes get mag version if you have 7mm magnum. You can call Boyds their customer service is great, they can help you.

Is this an ADL with blind mag (load from top, use bolt to unload) or does it have the bottom metal (BDL/CDL, load from top open hinged plate to drop rounds)?

Are you going to upgrade to detachable magazine kit? Pics would help, and what do you want to end up with?

Check this, its what I used for my 308 short action. This is for magnum long action, but you should check on the Wyatt's site to make sure 7mm mag is good to go on this. Barrel matters to for the stock. Mine was heavy (bull) barrel, yours may be different (probably is).

After you get the detmag kit decided, the look into the stock and make sure they have it for your application.

That's one of the ones I was looking at, mainly cause it will accept the accuracy international mags once i get the spare money to the aids stock, right now I'm just getting something to hold me off
