Hello Guys and Gals, I am new to the whole shotgun/rifle platform(always a pistol) and I am having a lot of issues with my current choice of product (a rem oil infused towel)when wiping down my 870 for cleaning. The oil isn't the problem but the towel leaves all kinds of green fibers all over everything it comes into contact with on the gun. This was never a issue on any of my hand guns I guess due to their smoother metal pieces. Does anyone have any suggestions on a different type of brand or applicator that I could give a whirl and bypass this issue? I've always been really particular when it comes to cleaning and oiling my firearms and want to avoid neglecting this fine weapon. Thanks for listening and look forward to the response.

I just use old t-shirts and such. I try to avoid any terry or denim material as it also leaves lots of lint all over everything.
I've had good luck with those silicone gun and real clothes as well in the past. We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.-Ronald Reagan
