who makes that bag, looks like a great bag to use. how is it with both guns in it?

I'll have to check on the manufacturer. It's an excellent bag. Not bad at all with both rifles, but it gets a bit heavy when you start packin ammo. Packed 500 rounds for the range today, most of which was pre-loaded in my Pmags. Even fully loaded it's very manageable. The shoulder carry straps are a huge benefit.

Let's see everyone's gun cases/bags they use to transport their firearms.

After looking for a while, I picked up my bag today. I got a great deal on the 5.11 Tactical 42" double rifle case. Nice padding, and a decent retention system for a long gun on each side of the case. It has removable shoulder straps to convert it to/from a backpack.
On the 5.11 Canadian site, the bag is listed at $229, the local dealer has it tagged at $244.00, and today I got out the door for $150.00. I have some other 5.11 gear, and have been very happy with it so far. Now I am looking at one of their small(er) range bags. |

Nice!
Be sure to post up some pics of the new bag when you get a chance... 16.5" 597 AAC-SD .22lr

I use the cases the guns came in for transport to the range in most cases. Range bag was a cheap one from Dicks Sporting Goods. Typically load it up depending on what I'm taking to the range that day.
I had a really nice M&P bag that I got for free but then one of my cats decided to use it instead of his litterbox. Brian- Colonial Embers Competition BBQ Team - Memento mori, Memento vivere

Don't have pics but I use a midway USA. Competition range bag for the range and I use a 5.11 rush 24 for hunting. Both serve my needs well and well made too

When going to my home range I only need to carry my firearms and ammo as I have two lockers at the club house.
What I have found is that there are a lot of organization that offer carry bags as Perks for joining or sometimes renewal. These bags have a sholder strap as well as two carry handles with a large main zipper compartment. On each end there is a mesh area allowing additional storage and on the front there is a pull string section perfect for shooting glasses or a cell phone as well as two more zipper compartments. I have about 6 of these. I find that if I do not renew my memberships in time, I get notes with added incentives to renew and most of these came from that. I have them from multiple organizations with at least one from the Re-Breather Technical Diving club that I belong to, one from the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, one from the NRA and one from the Professional Photographers Association. I will just have to keep active to keep up a free supply! ![]() If I could figure how to upload photos I would. Thanks for the pictures of the padded camera bag. I have a couple of underutilized ones that I think I will put to use that way. Bob Bob Kittine

I already use Shutterfly? Will that work? Many of the forums I am on, just have a 'upload attachement" button on the bottom. Still not sure what to do here though with photos I have on the Shutterfly site?
I also just signed up on Photobucket and uploaded an image, but can not figure out how to now get it on here. Bob Bob Kittine

Hi Bob.. You'll want to find the "IMG" link to your photos. It'll look like this without the plus sign before IMG in the line below... Below that is the way the link will show.. I do not have any photos of it, but I bought a small tool bag with a top zipper that serves as a range bag for me. It has handles, and there is room for a gun, ammo, safety glasses, ear muffs, etc. It was not expensive, I think I got it at Home Depot.

Good deal.. If it works, it works.. I have a few of the heavy white cotton canvas bags from HF that I've used for most everything. I think I got three sizes for around ten bucks..

I use a nylon brief case style bag with a credit union logo. I can walk down any street without advertising I have guns and ammo.

Good deal.. I modified a couple of old briefcases for pistol use myself.. Cheers "Ain't no pockets on a shroud"
