783 Stock modifications

Ill attach some pics. First I painted it the light tan color. I used a ruff scotch pad and alcohol to prep it first however. Then I drapped some netting I got at joanne fabrics over it then pulled it tight with twist ties. And randomly sprayed some other colors over top. Pulled the netting off and hit it with a matte clear coat.

I used 9 different colors of rattle can and several different blending and fading techniques included spray fading, sanding and then I used sea sponge for some of it as well. All layers had plenty of cure time and i baked the layers on the barreled action. I used plastic primer for the stock. The stock was soaked in acetone then sanded fully to remove all sheen the washed again with acetone. |
