For those of you who maybe interested in one of these models, Please do not fall for this one, It had me a little confused being new into the Remington World... and yes you are not seeing things your eyes are not playing tricks on you that is a Model 700P with a HS Precision Stock, and is not what they are advertising. And after going rounds for about a half hour with the manager I bought it anyways ( had to have it) but he was still "adamant" and that I was still wrong...Oh well I guess no said you have to have any brains to sell guns, or spell for that matter lol.
And if anyone else owns one I would love to hear your thoughts and input on this Rifle, I am excited to make a Range Run myself. Peace

I am confused when you say it's not what it's supposed to be. That sure looks like a 700P to me.
I have 2 of them. 20" fluted and 26" non fluted. I love them. That price seems wrong though - I think I paid about $650 for each of mine. Make sure you break it in correctly - that's really important on a 700. I am at about 0.75 MOA on both of them, and 0.5 MOA on my XHR. What month was it made? If it's before April you better check the S/N against their website recall portal (http://xmprecall.remington.com/) and make sure. My XHR was in the recall but I didn't want to wait 6-12 months to get it back so I instead installed a Timney 510. Night and day anyway - the new Remington trigger Xmark Pro can't hold a candle to the Timney so being out $125 didn't bother me much. |
