I am working on a 1100 for a military guy on the base here. It feeds 2 shells at a time. After further examination, the interceptor latch is broken allowing it to swivel out of position so the piece that stops the shell from exiting the tube is not catching the edge of the shell.

Anyone have any tips or heads up in taking off the snap ring, spring and latch and replacing them??

Any replies appreciated!

Tony

Should be fairly easy. I would order the parts from Remington.

If you have a pair of SMALL snap ring pliers it's a snap. Otherwise it can be a bit of a hassle. Make sure you get the snap ring back in flat side to the interceptor latch.
What could have happened... did.
