I just ordered some frog lube, it seems like people have been having go results with it. Does anyone around here have any experience with it?

I am 48 years old and a firearms professional. You can name it and I have used it or tried it! What I like to use to clean the bore with is Hoppes No. 9 Bore Solvent and Copper Solvent. When I'm done cleaning the bore, I dry patch it and finish it off with a wet patch of Slip 2000 Extreme Weapons Lubricant. I also use Slip 2000 EWL on all moving parts of the firearm! It doesn't get any better than Slip 2000 EWL!!!

I will have to pick up a bottle of Slip 2000 EWL and give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion.

I've been using it for a while now and love it.

Cleaning = Ed's Red or Hoppe's #9

Lube = Militec Gun Grease or Dexron VI or a blend of both

+1 on the Slip 2000
+1 on Eezox

I have a 597 .22 cal and tried the Rem oil but was too oily for lubricant and CLP was just nasty. I've started using the Slip 2000 on my FNP-9 and haven''t looked back but on my 597, I've found that Eezox works the best, at least for me. It's a dry lube so it doesn't trap the crap typically found with .22 rounds. It just works better for me.
