Looking for a trigger with less lbs. of pull. Wanted to know if Remington offered this modification, and if this modification is considered a safety issue if one has to be obtained from another source. I'm seeking a 2 to 2.5 lbs. of pull for more accuracy.

Chances are Remington would consider it a safety issue...

Have you tried these sites ?...

Check here.... http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/fo ... .php?f=218

I get most of my info for what I've done to my 597 from there. I made it 100% more reliable and smother then it already was....

Only other upgrade I did was to purchase magazines from Keepshooting.com
