Front sight for 41 P targetmaster

Hello. I have a 41P Targetmaster and looking for a front sight. Now I see the schematic for this rifle has a rear peep and front aperture sight but mine has a open rear sight that doesn't look like it was modified plus the screw holes for the front sight measure 1.520" I see numeric has this blade sight but are sold out at this time. I can not seem to find a front sight with the same screw hole pattern. I might have to cut a dovetail into this barrel right at the first screw hole and plug the other. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks
