I'm trying to set my Versa Max up for turkey hunting with a Burris FastFire III red dot. Unfortunately, Weaver does not make a mount to put the red dot on for the Versa Max. Can anyone help me find a substitute?

the same one piece Weaver mount that works for the 870, 1100, and 1187 will fit on the Versa Max. the holes in the receiver are identical.
now, weather it fits the optics or not i do not know, but just because the Weaver mount does not say it will fit the VM does not mean it won't.
the VM is still so new no one bothered to change the "will fit" line on the package or websites.

Thank you TuJays, I'll give it a go. I couldn't believe there wasn't a mount for the Versa Max. Everyone I called from my local gun dealer, to Remington, then Weaver, kept telling me they didn't make a mount to fit this shotgun. I'm glad your out there to help.
