I posted these in the photo gallery but I'll do it here too.

Started out as Remington's Slug Gun with the 21in fully rifled barrel and some add ons but after a few years I decided to change up a few things.

If it's brown, it's down.

New here, but I'll chime in.

I picked up a standard 870 Express, 26" barrel, synthetic stock about a year ago when it was on a great sale at Gander mountain (All said and done, with rebate it ended up being about $225). I figured I would swap things around to make it what I want.

Now it has an ATI Collapsable/side folding stock and forend, and I just ordered a bunch of springs, non-mim extractor, etc. It has an magazine extension. I need a shorter barrel and I ended up not being a huge fan of the side folding stock so I plan on trying to get a solid stock with Pistol grip for it.

I have an 870 express "tactical" but nothing on it is tactical. It just has an 18" barrel and a police style for end

Nice.

Who did you have install the choke tubes? I know of a few places that will cut threads for factory tubes but am always on the lookout for options.

I have an 870 express w/a 26" barrel and remchoke. I also have a Remington Sportsman 12, which I recently turned into my turkey gun by covering the stock, receiver, and forehand with Mossy Oak Graphics Breakup vinyl wrap, a Remington 21" turkey barrel with an extra full turkey choke, and a set of Dead Ringer sights. I've had both for over 20 years and they've been great guns.ImageImage

In 1950, you could buy a STUDEBACKER, NASH, DESOTO, and the new REMINGTON 870. You can still buy the REMINGTON 870.

I don't physically have the gun yet, but the gun shop has most of my money for a 870 Express Tactical waiting for me to pick it up. Will be a few weeks but she's mine!
