Rem. Factory Synthetic Stock

I want to replace original stock on a BDL in 7mm Rem Mag. I bought in mid 70's. Has anyone tried Rem. Synthetic stock? I want to get away from shiny wooden stock; not spend much $$; get a good functional stock I can take hunting & still get great accuracy. bku :?: :?:

I know a lot of members have had luck buying used stocks of the newer versions when people decide to upgrade them.
