I have a question that I have asked Remington (yet to have a reply in over a week) I asked Federal (check owners manual not one thing about it in manual). Is it safe to shoot 2 3/4 slugs in a firearm that has a 3 1/2 chamber? I picked up a box of Lightfield slugs it has a warning not to shoot them in a 3 1/2 chamber. I would guess that forcing cone and shells end there is a gap. I've gone an old Wingmaster that prior owner turn tactical I would use the slugs in it. Sorry for being so long thanks for your time

Got a reply today
2 3/4 inch slugs are perfectly fine for use in a 3 1/2 inch chambered shotgun. We do not know why Lightfield would advise otherwise. This may be a question for them to answer, but we know of no reason why they would not function correctly. Thank you and best regards, Remington Customer Service Sent from my iPhone touch using Tapatalk |
