Hi ya'all. I'm new to this forum. I just purchased a beautiful and great condition used 1989 Remington 11-87 Premier Trap 12 ga. from Gunbrokers.com, but when it arrived and I tried assembling it, the fore-end did not fit. The seller (pawnshop) did not mention this and did not show pictures of the gun fully assembled, so there was no way to know this. Apparently the pawn shop who sold it on Gunbrokers didn't try assembling it either and didn't know it was the wrong fore-end. I won the gun at a great price so I'm hesitant to return it, but I'm looking for a replacement burled (glossy or satin) wood fore-end. Remington service dept. no longer carries this fore-end and other online shops they recommended don't seem to have it either. Can't find one on eBay or Amazon. It needs to fit under a 30" vent ribbed 2-3/4" shells Target barrel. The current fore-end binds up and doesn't go all the way down so I can't get the mag cap on. I suppose a last resort would be for a gunsmith to shave down the fore-end a little to fit it. Does anyone here have a used one for sale or know where I can get a replacement?

Yes, talked to the nice lady in the parts department and she couldn't find what I needed in her computer either. I got a list of links and references from someone on the Numrich forum and I'm checking those out. Thanks.
