When I bought my 870 I bought with the intention to use it for target shooting like clays and skeet so I picked up one with the 28 inch barrel with modified choke.

Today I received a 18 inch barrel for it.
I have a mossberg for HD but I figured it wouldn't hurt having the police barrel for my 870 here are some pics. Enjoy.

Nice. It's never a bad thing to have options.

That would be cool.

I threw a turkey barrel and some fire sights on my 870 so now it serves dual hunting/hd purposes.

I have 18.5" barrels for two of my other shotguns and I am planning on sending them in to get them drilled/tapped for choke tubes to add a little more versatility.

While I still prefer wood I went with a Hogue stock on my 870 because it was easier then cutting a wood one (I wanted a shorter LOP)

Almost had the police style wood furniture today but was out bid :(. There is another set on eBay going to have to keep my eye on that.
