Hi all -

First time poster with a quick question.

I just purchased a Tac 4 as my turkey gun for the fall, and I'm thinking about removing the magazine tube extension for hunting instead of just plugging it down to the 5 rounds allowed in my state.

My question is this.. aside from a replacement magazine cap, do I need to change up the spring? Are there any other parts I'll need?

In general, as I;m not familiar with this one specifically, the springs used with the extensions are a bit longer. It should still work but you might not get full capacity as the spring needs room to collapse, which should not be that big of a deal turkey hunting. Just make sure the tension is not too much that it causes feeding issues.

Thanks Mike. I'll give it a shot and see how it goes.
