New toy. I've had a lot of 700 cdl and bdl rifles but never a tactical sps in 308. I just had to have it. I put a Yankee hill flash hider and tipped it off with a mid range Nikon buck master. Easily the most accurate rifle I own. I had a Vls in 308 but this thing shots rings around it. I'm now a believer in short heavy barrels.

I love the Boyds laminate stocks. Here's mine after the DetMag upgrade from internal mag. Boyds thumbhole varmit stock, 20MOA picatinny base for the scope.  .308 bull barrel, started as ADL with camo factory stock. Rootbrain |

Sweet tactical Dan. Which DetMag kit is that? The Wyatt's Outdoor has the mag release inside the trigger guard. Adjustable from way too easy to way too hard.

The .308 is sit'n in an AICS 2.0 and the .223 is in an AICS 1.5... 16.5" 597 AAC-SD .22lr

I had my AICS700 chopped to 20" and had the AICS stock Hydro dipped in carbon with a mat clear finish.
Pretty chuffed with the result.

I thought it looked pretty bad ass in black but I think I like the camo better. Very nice.
