Just bought the 11-87 Rem. Super Mag 12G. I used it recently for Pheasant Hunting and it worked great. No Jams, very happy. I want to try my luck on Turkey this season. I read the manual and it says i need to remove the BSA ring when using 3.5 shells. Its a very new gun to me, a little nervous. I broke it done and found the O ring and than what i think is the BSA ring. Do i just take BSA ring out when using 3.5 shells? Thanks in advance for your help.....

The BSA ring is sep from the rubber gas ring. From what I can find this ring needs to be taken out for the 3.5" shells. It is there to help create more pressure to actuate the system when the lower pressure 2 3/4" shells are used.
