Has anyone installed an aftermarket Detachable Box Magazine Floorplate/Bottom Metal such as the:

- Badger Ordnance M5 Trigger Guard and Detachable Magazine Assembly,
- Wyatt's Outdoors Trigger Guard and Detachable Magazine Assembly
- Or Similar

on an aftermarket stock - in particular a Hogue Full Bedding Block stock.

I am wondering how much machining needs to be done and how difficult it's gonna be.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I have installed the CDI unit on my r700 but I bought a Choate Tactical stock that came premilled for it to be installed. If you have access to the proper tools you can certainly install it yourself but it depends on your skill level.

Just did the Wyatt's outdoors DBM in a Boyds laminate thumbhole stock. It was an easy 15 minute conversion from my ADL bull barrel .308. Completely drop in. The barrel is free floated in this stock, can run a business card between barrel and channel all the way to the receiver. Not bedded yet will wait to see how it shoots first.
