Hey everybody,

I was wondering if anyone owns a 870 super slug and if you could tell me a little about it and if you like it. Also, if you have any advice on where to get it the cheapest. Thanks for your time.

Thanks,
Supermag

Welcome from MI!!

I don't have that model but I have a 870 Express and it has been ultra reliable with many many 1000's of rounds.

I don't know if what I have is the Super Slug but I seem to remember it being "Remington's Slug Gun". Its an 870 12ga with a 23in fully rifled barrel and a cantilever for optics. It's an 870, reliable as ever. I've been using it for about 7 years now. No issues. I will say the canilever is limiting, in the sense that you have to run some sort of optic. I actually just ordered a different barrel for it yesterday so that I have rifle sights on it because rifle sights suit my needs a little better these days.

Hope this helps!
If it's brown, it's down.
