Anybody hear anything about the Nikon M-308 rifle scope? I'm thinking about getting one for my SPS AAC-SD

I have on my M-750 308. It is a great scope. The issue I have with an exposed turret is what if you rub hard or bump one of the turrets and it moves off "0". How can you tell for sure if you are moving the turret back to the proper "0"?

I have one on mine and I have never had any issues at all. Great accuracy out of the rifle suppressed or not and the scope is clear and the BDC reticle allows me to get on my target accurately from longrange. I shoot this rifle a lot doing PR/Shooting Event's for Nikon and there's a reason it is my go to rifle/scope combo. It has also filled my freezerthe last 3 years.

Sounds like a dream job Bart !!
Is there a schedule for these events across the country...!? |

There aren't markers on the tube to tell you your zero? I've never used one but they look pretty good for the price. |

Shooter, The Event's are planned around Nikon retiler's and their sales people to get them informed and make sure they are passing along the correct information on how to use Spot On with a Nikon BDC reticle. There's always Shot Show as well. I never know how many folks I talk to at there. Seems like I am tired and almost horse by the end of each day though. Always fun taking the time to enlighten folk's and make sure they are getting the right information. I don't do any sales for Nikon so even though a lot of folks ask me, nothing I can do help them out except suggest they check out Sponsor's or their local store.
GN., I understand what you are asking, I have only once had my turret inadvertently turn while on a predator hunt, I just turned it back the shortest distance to zero and all was good. The Nikon scopes made over the last few years definitely have more tension in the turret to keep any accidental movement from occurring. As a side note, after that 1 time I always glance at my turret while hunting. I would do that with any exposed turret that I was using. http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd3 ... rifles.png Bart

Just ordered one of these jewels for my 700 SPS. Got the rings today and should have the scope tomorrow or Friday. Looking forward to the upgrade from the Falcon Menace I had on it.
