I am new to this forum and I am also new to Remington 600 MOhawk rifles.

I Just bought a 1977 Mohawk in .308 ( A series serial number) with Scopechief Bushnell 4 power scope. (Front sight , but no rear sight.)

The rifle is unfired and looks like new.

I have several question :

1). I would like to mount a decent quality scope on this little rifle. I need recomendation on mounts and scope.

2). I also would like to find a CORRECT rear sight for this rifle. What should I be looking for?

The best I remember, they had the standard rem. ramp style rear sight
