When the 597s first came out I was only 16. I was looking through an Academy sales paper and noticed that they had a sale on 597 Magnums for $99.99. So I knew that this couldnt be correct and notified my dad. We went straight to Academy and they sold us the remaining three they had for the $99. They told us it was a huge mistake and a misprint but they would indeed honor it.

Well the 597 has been one of my favorite rifles with only one exception. The lack of aftermarket additions and/or accessories for the magnum as opposed to the LR. Does anyone know if they even make a mag that holds more than the stock ones? or if there are any of the nifty body kits for the mags like they have for the LRs?
