I joined the Regular Army when I was 27-years old. Nine years later, I had just made E-7 when I decided to get out and become a civilian again.
Absolutely no regrets. Only two years of that time was in CONUS. Helluva great edventure! Man, I woulda retired by now............ but I love what I do now. So like I said ~~ no regrets.

May God Bless you, sir. To Vietnam veterans the Huey means so much. Just looking at the picture brought a flood of memories and my eyes got just a tad moist. an homage to the Huey crews "The man in the doorway" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qH2vbYs6ebc Member: Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Vietnam Veterans of America, AMVETS, Society of the 5th Infantry Division
