Dog229 Here,
I just came across a really nice 1100 LW 20 gage with 26' i.c. choke barrel with vent rib made in 1975. Gun has been fired but not alot. Can you tell me guys on how did this small frame setup did for either skeet or just general hunting like dove or grey tail kind. Would like to pass it on to my daughter down the road. I have cleaned and lubed and oiled it and replaced the barrel seal with new silver coated replacement
and polished up the piston rings from it being in storage for 20+ years but really did not take much at all. The condition is in the 95% range being the blue book top out on this is $510. I paid a lot less but with no box or paper work but i think i did ok on it. Let me hear from owners of this kind about good or bad things to watch out for if any.
Thanks!!!!

Dog,
If you care for it like it should be done your great grand daughter will still be using it 50 years from now! Awesome guns, smaller lighter receivers, easy on the shoulder. Any replacement and or repair parts if you ever need them are pretty easy to still find. price wise, it sounds to me like you did great! Does the serial number end in a "K" or a "U"? We have done so much for so long with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing!
