I just bought a new Remington R1 Enhanced but after looking closer on the website it seems it is missing some of the features of the enhanced version.

Features of an Enhanced model that it does have:
  • Appears the rear sight is adjustable
  • 2 Clips (8 Round)

Features of an Enhanced model that it is lacking:
  • Serations on front and rear of slide
  • Trigger does not have the "Holes"
  • Normal hammer
  • The text "ENHANCED" is not engraved under the ejection port
  • Wood (I believe walnut) grips
  • Standard sights (appear to be adjustable front and rear, but plain white dot, not fiber)

If there is anything else that you would need to make it easier to identify, please let me know!

Thank you!

Yea, it looks a hell of a lot like the Talo!! Now, for the million dollar question, what are the differences between the two?

Here is a pic of mine just for verification. Let me know if you need other angles.

Talo is cheaper in price. other than that the differences I would think are the obvious ones. I bought the Talo edition because I did not like the Medium trigger on the Enhanced. I like the walnut grips better on the Talo. I do not like the extended mag on the Talo edition I would have much preferred and 8 round with it along with the 7round flat floor plate magazine. Just my aspects of the gun.

^ this as long as you didn't pay the enhanced price youll be fine. You have a nice firearm. I plan on buying the talo grips and putting them on my r1.

If you bought it from a dealer he misinformed you.

Keep an eye on the grips, the medallions like to fall out when shooting.
