Weird Remington 760 need info

Just picked up a used 760 and seen it has a weird barrel/receiver.It actually has the raised look of a browning shotgun,and never seen anything like it.Thinking I got a special edition or an older/first version of the 760.Anything have or seen one like this,cause it really intrigues me.

Never mind I found it! Its a 1966 BDL model,not sure what a BDL is/means but I think its cool looking...
