I don't see many people posting on them and understand that Remington quit making it in 22lr. Does anyone own one and if so, what do you think?

I don't have one but have shot a friends on several occasions. Its a great shooting gun if you can find one.

I own one and was wondering what others thought about them. I haven't seen any reviews or much said about them. Have seen mixed reviews on the regular 597 and have seen lots of upgraded 597's but almost nothing on the factory laminate hb in 22lr. Mine is very accurate, how does it compare to the standard 597? I love the rifle and will never part with it, also feel thAT spending the money up front, has saved me some cash in future upgrades. How many years did they make the laminate hb in 22 lr
