These babies are relatively new to the 700 roster and from what I understand, there aren't a ton of them being made. My LGS got one in and the owner immediately notified me! I'm picking it up on Saturday and will update with pics. I stopped by today to pay it a visit and it is one beautiful piece of work. I'll be dropping it into an AICS 2.0, which is almost a shame because the factory stock is gorgeous!

Then comes the Class III application, tax stamp, and the 6-8 month wait for the suppressor. I'll be shopping for a brake in the meantime.

Stay tuned for updates...

That looks like a real beauty. I am excited to see how you build with this new 700 SPS Tactical AAC©-SD turns out. That is going to be a sweet setup with the suppressor on it.

I can't wait to pick it up tomorrow.

I'll be pulling the 26" SPS Varmint barrel off my current AICS 2.0 rig and dropping in the new, shorter 20" upper. I like the longer barrel just fine, but the local range only reaches out to 200yds and I'd need a lot more distance than that for the extra barrel length to make a difference. I had been looking at options to chop and thread the longer barrel and the job would have cost around $200. The arrival of the new SPS Tactical AAC@-SD came right on time. I should get the new rig put together tomorrow afternoon.

I'm not looking forward to the wait for the suppressor. It'll be well worth it though. I'll be able to use the can on my AK as well.

She was purdy before, but now she's just downright SEXY!!! My LGS has some titanium suppressors on the way and I'll be starting the paperwork as soon as they're in stock. It's gonna be a LONG 6-8 months!

Makes me want to go out and build one just like your Remington Model 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD.

Got out with it this afternoon. Was a still day with almost no wind at all...

At 100yds, put 23 rounds of 168gr Federal Premium Gold Medal Match into the target below with groups ranging from .35MOA (top left) to .65 MOA (bottom right). The four shot group in the bottom left measured in at a hair under .5 MOA. Got down to the last round and I couldn't resist pluggin the barcode...

My shoulder is a little worse for wear, but it was a good day! :D
