Remington will be upgrading 3600 M24s to the M2010 by rebarreling, replacing the bolt, and changing everything but the receiver. The new platform will be in .300 WinMag. Previously this program was designated as the M24E1.
The rifle has a 24" 1:10 5R barrel, a detachable 4 round magazine, and will accept an AAC suppressor. Effective range is rated at 1200 yards. A Leupold Mark 4 ER/T is mounted on a Picatinny rail and will use the AN/PVS 29.
The chassis is adjustable for LOP and has an adjustable riser. The stock folds for a more compact length, and there are several rails for accessories.
Weight is listed as 18.7 pounds loaded with suppressor installed. It is 52.2" in length, again with suppressor.

I shot the one Robby Jonson had at Range 37, wish we get with the rest of the countries that take their sniper programs serius and go to the 338 Lapua, instead of wasting money on something that eventualy will be replace with the 338 Lapua. Nice Rifle...but it is not a 338 Lapua.
