I'm wonderin though...

Were you able to find if the Mesa stock adapters fit the 887? I know its built on the 870, the receiver appears to be the same with the exception of the trigger guard.

And howd things go with the Nordic extension? I think that was you, if not I apologize and you can laugh at me now! :D

They will not fit out of the box, if I remember correctly the "female" portion on the stock had to be honed/widened to accept the wider "male" end on the 887. There are a handful of guys that have done the 870 to 887 stock mod. Looks easy enough, just hard to buy something new and cut it up.

I believe the Nordic extension was Grodin? I did the write up on the double - triple feeds (easy fix).

Edit: Tried to find the post, but had no luck. Maybe I was mistaken?

My "under the bed" shotgun. Modifications are: police lifter spring, non-MIM extractor, S&J lime green follower, Wolff mag spring, S&J over sized safety, Elzetta light mount with Eagletac T100C MKII. I've got an XS Big Dot front sight coming in the mail. I've also added a Mesa 4 shell side-saddle since I took that picture.

Very nice, the Super Cell recoil pad was well worth the $20.

No photos because I can't find my camera
We've had two Bersa 380s for a while and just got a Remington Model 750 - but with that "assaut weapon" synthetic stock. I had been looking at bolt action 243s for a couple of months and the possibility of a oump or semiauto shotgun for home defense. My wife suggested one semiauto rifle would do the work of both a bolt action rifle and a shotgun. G-d bless my wife :D
