CCI cases that did fire on Nov 16th
Remington Golden after replacing firing pin and shaving off some the barrel extension.

Update on the 552 that used to make duds with lite firing pin strikes.
After removing a very light ammount from the barrel extension that brought in the chamber headspace just .002".
Its now Late October 2021 and she still works.
One thing about sloppy chamber is it's not exactly a nail driver.
Yet plenty capable of harvesting meat and pelts.
This rifle could shoot tighter if the chamber were recut and head space reset.

Well its 2022, the Remington 552 Dud making has quit, it fires every round chambered.
Now my only problem is for a 1971 era 552 Speedmaster should be a tack driver, but this one is not that tacky.
Its more popcan size groups at 33 paces.
I think it would shoot tighter if the chamber was reamed clean and tight and headspace set.

Think if the chamber was set fwd, .002 to .003 and head space set the accuracy would improve a bunch, as it is now, you need about 4 shots to hit a pop can at 50 paces.

Not sure how head space is adjusted other than by trial and error.
