I need to know what the stamping on the Trigger Guard of my Fieldmaster 121 means.

Surely it is a simple answer ...

Thanks in advance for any help ...

Field Master. Name given to the Model 121. Made from 1936-54. Built when guns were made very well!

If you scrolled the photo to the right, I think he's asking about the wiggly 7 and P stamp on the side of the trigger guard.

Sorry, I have no idea if that is even a factory marking or if it's a small defect from forging or what it is.
When people ignorant of guns make gun laws, you end up with ignorant gun laws.
