Just picked mine up today, but haven't had a chance to go to the range. Since your original post how do you like yours? Experiences?

Got mine in 2008. Had probs with FTF and FTE. Everywhere I read it said that the magazines were to blame. I got the latest version (2nd update by Remington), but still had probs, even after taking the mags apart and giving them a good cleaning.
Recently a friend on another board suggested I get a Voltquartsen Extractor and guess what? It worked!!! It was mfg. in 2000 and has a 20" barrel with synthetic Gray stock. Shoots great. Perfect to teach all the young kids in the family with. |

Good to know Koyote. I liked the 597 magnum with the 20 inch barrel. Seems just right. Looks handy and easy to carry like a 10/22 with great punch for varmints.
