I think I've developed a fairly consistent method of capturing what the muzzle flash looks like from various handguns which are fired in the dark.

Here is the Classic .357 Magnum load of Alliant 2400 powder and a 158-gr bullet
![]() This one astonishes me. All the seettings and exposures are exactly the same from shot to shot. But this load has zero flash signature! ![]() See, here the same photo pushed to the maximum limit of brightening the image... ![]() I have more!
