I like taking pics of muzzle flash at night <PICS>

I think I've developed a fairly consistent method of capturing what the muzzle flash looks like from various handguns which are fired in the dark.

Let me know what you think, and please provide suggestions for future photographs.

What camera...film speed...f stop...shutter speed etc...

Tripod...timer ?

Gotta know everything now.... ;)

Here is the Classic .357 Magnum load of Alliant 2400 powder and a 158-gr bullet

This one astonishes me. All the seettings and exposures are exactly the same from shot to shot. But this load has zero flash signature!
