Hello I was wandering if it is legal to travel from and to two states where a certain mod is legal but across a state or more where it is illegal... For an example... If I buy a bump stock in Ohio because i live there, and am traveling to texas to a friend. They are legal in both states, but I would be crossing states such as Indiana and Missouri where they are illegal. If I were pulled over in Missouri for speeding or anything, even a traffic stop, and they saw I possesed a bump stock on a rifle bought in Ohio, will I be arrested? If so, will they also arrest me if the stock and the rifle were separated? And if so, how is that fair, if I legally bought the stock and am only traveling through the state?
