CLEANING!
1) Installing the firing pin retainer. I take as much time trying to install that as I do at the range.
2) Red loctite on the grip screws. I broke two T7 bits removing it, third one got it out and put it back in. Didn't even try to remove any of the others. So no cleaning under the grips.
Other than that I really like this little pocket pistol. It's my first. Still perfecting my grip. A little over 300 rds of various FMJ. No hiccups. Now to find a good hollow point.

How often do you remove the firing pin when cleaning? I removed the pin once to install the Galloway spring kit but don’t disassemble that when I clean it.
I had no problem removing the grip panel when I installed the Galloway hammer spring. |

I had the same problem with the grip screws. After getting them out, I could see the drop of red loctite. I had to press down really hard with the T7 while slowly turning to get good purchase. Until I figured that out, I almost stripped the first one by not doing that.

Every other range trip. So about 100 rds. |

I know about keeping pressure to get a good purchase. I think it might be that the bits were the security type with the hole in the middle. |

They don't sound like a bad gun for the money but will stick with my CS-9.

This is a good video showing disassembly of the RM380, including removal of the firing pin. I had no trouble removing and installing the firing pin retainer after watching it. The only problem I had was removing the hammer spring end plug pin. Sucker wouldn't fall out. "The beatings will continue until morale improves."

I used that video too. I still have a hard time keeping the retainer in the channel while pushing in the pin.

I know what you mean. It was a little tricky for me too. Maybe try holding your tongue in the other cheek.
