Hello everyone. Would love some help identifying my 870. I purchased this 870 in the late 80’s i believe. Over the years I have forgotten exactly what model it is other than the obvous that it is. Wingmaster Mag. Im thinking if selling it and would like to know the model so I can get an acurate price. I took photos the the imprtant parts i believe.

The wood furniture would be considered the Deluxe.

If it's the original barrel, you can date code it by the 2 stamped letters. See the link below

When people ignorant of guns make gun laws, you end up with ignorant gun laws.

Now I know they're not so ignorant and it's ATRRITION

Just make sure ya get a decent price for it. Guns from back then should be considered higher end compared to what is offered these days.

Thanks, that is helpful. Any suggestions on identifying a fair price? Sorry, I don't have much experience with gun sales. Thanks.

It is a standard Wingmaster from that era. By then, they were all Magnums. Does it have RemChokes ? Remington introduced the Sportsman pump and semi auto in their first move to provide lower cost options. Then the Express debuted in 1987.
A standard Wingmaster is an excellent gun.

I would ask $450 for it. Sell privately if possible or put on consignment. Much nice gun than the Sportsman series with that crap matte finish.

I have only seen pictures of a Sportsman with a matte finish. All those I have seen had gloss bluing with satin birch stocks. They are a real deal if you can find one.

Nice looking gun!
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.-Ronald Reagan
