Hello again,
Anyone have thoughts or recommendations for a holster.
Probably looking for a small holster to meed conceal carry requirements of a trigger guard for placing in a bag for certain situations.
Or a IWB holster for other times.
Currently have about 200 rounds through the R51, very happy to report zero issues to fire, today although the slide did not stay retracted one the last round.
I am still getting better at my grip and trigger action but I seem to be about 6 inches low consistently when I think I get a good shot off.
If I place the front site on top of the rear site and cover the bullseye I can shot failure in the center.
I have read some other problems with accuracy so looking for any thoughts on that if possible,
Thanks,
GPCC

Which brand(s) of ammo do you use...!?

I do not have any right now but I have used Winchester white box, Federal and Blazer Brass, all 115gr.
I seem to think I got the same results from all brands but could not say for sure. I did pick up some Remington UMC which I will try next time. Also this is at about 7 yds at an indoor range. Thank you for any suggestions. GPCC |

I've got an Alien Gear 3.0 on order for my R51. The only other one I was considering was Black Arch.

Most of the leather IWB holsters that I have for my Makarovs work equally well for the R51. Had a rocky start with my second R51 but it smoothed out and eats any ammo now.

Mentioned in another post, but for IWB carry, I use a Front Line 80010BK. Technically it's for a Beretta 92, but it fits my 1911, Glock 26, EAA Witness, and my R51. All leather, tuckable, VERY comfy, and a smooth draw.
Here's pretty much the same thing, listed at $27: https://www.amazon.com/Tuckable-Leather-Holster-Brown-Right/dp/B00EBBA2GG

I hate to sound so cheap, however, I use an Uncle Mike's size 15 holster from Academy. Cost me 12.99. For ammo, I use Federal Hydra-Shok. Works great. The holster works great too.

I have a few I have modified, but like this one the most: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjGwI2F5KvaAhUM2oMKHSxdB4wQjBAILjAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.vedderholsters.com%2Flighttuck%2F&usg=AOvVaw0G5U6b13Q0KdlY975fwOqW
They have two belt clip options. Very adjustable. Dan |

I've been using Alien Gear as well for some time now and really like them. Both IWB and OWD are good and comfortable. Just be sure to lock-tite the screws as they do work themselves out. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.-Ronald Reagan

I also use a N82 Tactical iwb holster for my R51. It’s the “Original Compact Slim” model. The N82 holsters are very comfortable in the summer.

i have been using a Galco Stinger. they make it for the R51. black. for an open top, the R51 fits snugly. will not flop out. covers the trigger. magazine release button is exposed, which is good. it is an OWB holster for RH carry. i will be looking around for a good IWB holster too. both have a use.
